We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst specialising in visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming complex data sets into meaningful and visually appealing reports, dashboards, and interactive visualisations for both colleagues and customers. You will work closely with various stakeholders across the organisation to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.nJob requirementsnEssential functions of the job:nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and understand business needs.nStrong knowledge and deep understanding of MS SQL or Clickhouse SQL to facilitate refactoring from one syntax to another.nDevelop visually appealing reports, dashboards, and interactive visualisations using Power BI or Tableau to communicate data-driven insights effectively.nClean, analyse, and transform large and complex data sets into actionable information.nIdentify trends, patterns, and correlations in data to uncover valuable insights that drives business decision-making.nPerform ad-hoc data analysis and provide recommendations based on the findings.nValidate data accuracy and quality to ensure reliable reporting.nStay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data visualisation and analytics.nPresent findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

In return, we’ll develop your knowledge and expertise in some of the following areas:nCommercial decision-making skills.nUnderstanding of wholesale markets, non-commodities, forecasting and analytics.nDeveloping highly effective business relationships.nRegulatory frameworks for both the Gas and Electricity markets.nSupport and assistance to further programming and data analysis knowledge.

Skills required:nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.nExcellent attention to detail.nSelf-starter who takes the initiative to not just complete tasks but expand upon them.nAble to work independently or as part of a team.nEducated at degree level in a numerical-related subject.nA proactive approach to problem solving and idea creation to form solutions.nA conscientious individual who takes pride in their work.nInitiative to take on duties or tasks to further your learning and improve business processes.nStrong technical background with excellent analytical skills and special attention to detail.nA fast learner and enthusiastic about learning new subjects and acquiring new skills.nComfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and able to quickly respond to changing business needs and demands.nAbility to prioritise workload autonomously.

Experience required:nComputer literate with good knowledge of MS Office.nStrong knowledge of SQL, and experience of Python would be advantageous (4 years minimum experience).nProven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role (4 years minimum experience).nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.nExperience using a CRM system alongside multiple web-based platforms.nExperience with data source migration would be highly desirable.
