We are currently working on behalf of a global multi-discipline engineering consultancy and their established MEP team in central Birmingham. This firm is one of the best-known names in engineering and work on some of the largest and most prestigious projects on the planet. Due to continued growth and success the Birmingham team is now seeking to fill a number of integral roles to cope with current and planned workload including a talented senior mechanical engineer. The current workload includes well-known local schemes as well as large scale international projects. This consultancy currently seeks a talented and high performing senior mechanical engineer who can grow and develop as the team goes forward. Day to day building services design on a range of projects including residential, education, healthcare, retail / commercial, stadia and leisure.
Taking ownership of projects and workload – being able to manage your own workload as well as taking leadership of parts of projects.
Client responsibilities including project meetings, site visits and client maintenance.
Managing / supervising / developing the mechanical team including mentoring more junior engineers.
Degree qualified in mechanical / building services engineering or with other relevant qualifications and corresponding experience. Experience of healthcare design and projects is also desirable but not essential.
~ Driven and ambitious with the long-term view to grow into higher level positions going forward.
