About Us: Spencer Clarke Group is pleased to partner with a primary school in the Chorley area. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Nursery Assistant to join their team to cover a maternity absence.
The Role: As a Level 3 Nursery Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the early years' team in delivering high-quality care and education to young children. You will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
Assist with the daily care routines of the children, including feeding, changing, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Observe and record children's progress, sharing this information with parents and colleagues.
Create a warm and welcoming environment that promotes learning and development.
Work collaboratively with the early years' team to ensure a cohesive approach to the care and education of the children.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education is essential.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
