Enso Recruitment is excited to offer an exceptional career opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic Engineering Manager to pioneer transformative innovations in the AI/Data sector. Located in Northern Ireland, this role offers a blend of remote and office working with flexible patterns available, ensuring a work-life balance tailored to your needs.
Role Overview:The successful candidate will lead a diverse and talented team, tasked with leveraging AI to address complex challenges through interdisciplinary, forward-thinking solutions. As a mentor and coach, you will:
- Guide and inspire your team in developing intelligent automation tools.
- Foster continuous learning within your team, empowering them to explore and implement new skills, technologies, and tools.
- Lead the design and development of ML experiments and proofs of concept, working closely with Digital Product Managers and Platform Consultants to transition high-impact projects into production.
Proven experience in Machine Learning or AI, with a minimum of 5 years in the field and at least 2 years in a leadership role, driving projects from ideation to production. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, inspiring and fostering high performance.
Desirable Skills:A robust grasp of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Experience with cutting-edge General AI technologies and techniques, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning methods, and vector storage solutions. Proven ability to work with major cloud service platforms, including Azure and AWS. Demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional teams, ensuring collaborative and efficient project execution.
