Due to growth, my client, a leading manufacturing company based in Enfield is looking to recruit an Assembly Operative on a full-time permanent basis.
Working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will have experience in a general manufacturing including Assembly.
Applicants should be self-motivated, reliable and able to work using their own initiative. The ability to read and understand engineering drawings is a requirement of the position and computer literacy is desirable. The assembly work is of a light nature, as it’s mainly plastics components.
Typical duties of Assembly Operative would include:-
* Light Mechanical Assembly work including sub-assemblies – mainly plastic components.
* Assemble products according to technical drawings.
* Test products and general quality checking, measuring of products.
* Sand blasting, masking.
* Darkroom viewing and measuring.
* Packing of products.
* General manufacturing duties as required.
Requirements:-
* Ability to read and understand instructions.
* Good verbal and communications skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Working to strict standards and time parameters with a can-do attitude.
* Work to and adhere to Health and safety within the department.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07.30 to 16.15 and 07.30 – 13.30 on Fridays covering a total of 39 hours per week.
