THE ROLE

Join our vibrant wealth management firm, dedicated to offering comprehensive financial advice to individuals and businesses. We are seeking a paraplanner to join our friendly, dynamic team, supporting the Business Owner and 2-3 other Wealth Managers.

As an ideal candidate, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing technical support through meeting preparation and Suitability Letter report writing, which documents the advice given to our clients. We are committed to supporting your career progression and development in this role.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Prepare client recommendations with advisers and write suitability reports
  • Handle pension transfers, drawdowns, and inheritance tax planning
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email, resolving them professionally and promptly
  • Prepare cash flow reports using Voyant
  • Conduct detailed investment analysis, assessing performance and costs using FE Analytics
  • Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with industry regulations and internal policies


Key Skills Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a paraplanner in a financial advisory firm - essential
  • Experience with St James's Place is highly advantageous
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Word, and Excel
  • Confident in communicating with clients and third-party providers
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions and investments
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
