Do you have proven communication skills with the ability to solve problems pragmatically? Do you have extensive experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics ERP? We are seeking an Application Support Team Leader to join our innovative organisation. In this essential position, you will oversee the delivery and operational assistance for crucial enterprise systems and their users throughout the AB Agri business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage the support team (of 4), promoting growth and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Assist in the delivery of IT projects; provide expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Dynamics AX.
  • Manage and resolve user problem tickets; emphasise root cause analysis for priority incidents.
  • Act as primary contact for escalated incidents, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Oversee problem management to resolve complex incidents.
  • Ensure tickets are handled per SLAs, assigning tasks as needed.
  • Communicate incidents, problems, and enhancements to stakeholders.
  • Manage software changes, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Maintain security best practices and apply patches promptly.
  • Coordinate with service providers to resolve issues and enhance service.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for application improvements.
  • Schedule and prioritise team tasks efficiently.
  • Organise installation and testing of applications and upgrades.
  • Maintain the application database for efficient management.
  • Ensure compliance with processes and assist in audit-related tasks.

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics ERP such as D365F&O, AX2012r2, AX2009, AX4.0
  • Experience of leading a team in an Operations environment.
  • High level of understanding of functional processes of a corporate company, manufacturing being desirable.
  • Advanced customer service skills with the ability to communicate to users at all levels.
  • Ability to triage and resolve complex and abstract problems.
  • Effective organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks.
  • Innovative working ethic to meet the demands of a fast-paced changing environment.

The role is a 1 year fixed term contract. Must have experience in D365 Finance and Operations, managing a small team and knowledge of functional processes within businesses. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in backfilling the current Application Team Leader position, ensuring seamless continuity and leadership within the team.
