Role Summary:
The Risk Management Lead will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure operation of our organisation. You will serve as the main point of contact for staff within the Business for risk related advice and support Group Risk and Compliance with operationalising the Risk Management framework across the business, identify areas of non-compliance and take the lead in remediation on behalf of the Business.
This role is a hybrid position where you will work from any of our Aptia offices, as well as from your home address.
Here's what you’ll be doing:
- Working with the 2 nd Line of Defence (2LOD) in the development of risk management policies and implementation of the policies, risk framework, procedures and guidelines across the Business.
- Implementing risk mitigation plans and strategies to minimise the impact of identified risks in the Business.
- Managing the Risk Register, with ongoing review of controls and KRIs that underpin the risks.
- Preparing reports for committees and the Leadership team, outlining the risk status, mitigations, route to green and recommended actions for improvement.
- Executing risk assessments as required.
- Supporting continuous process improvement and simplification efforts, including developing and publishing risk management guidelines, compliance standards, best practices, checklists and other required support.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience in risk management or a related role.
- Expertise in managing risk registers and risk reporting.
- Detailed knowledge of risk management taxonomy.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in deploying and using Decision Focus as a tool to manage risk reporting would be a distinct advantage.
