Expleo are currently recruiting on behalf of our automotive based client in Essex for a Commercial Vehicle Systems Engineer. You will be involved in leading meetings involving Finance, Cost Estimating, Commodity, and Program Purchasing to provide the engineering perspective for supplier selection. Prepare the Engineering Statement of Work, specifications, the Engineering concept, and Attachment 3 as inputs for the RFQ pack.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Competence in engineering tools such as CANalyser/Diagnostics/CANoe/ADB/WinSCP.
  • Proficiency in office applications such as Excel, Outlook, Project, and Word.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Initiative, perseverance, and liaison skills.
  • Proficiency in Ford CAN tools/diagnostics debug tools (ETH/CAN).
  • Excellent analytical and strategic skills.
  • Attention to detail in project management.
  • Experience in global teams.
  • Strong IT skills (e.g., JIRA, Excel, Teamcenter, WERS).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience using FEDE, WERS or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of vehicle Electrical Systems and Components.
  • Degree in Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Computing.
  • Full UK driving licence.
