Are you a motivated English teacher looking for work in Coalville?
The position we are currently recruiting for is full time and would start immediately. We are looking for an English teacher who's passionate about their subject and can create an exciting and stable environment for learning. They should deliver high quality lessons whilst successfully motivating students and encouraging their ambitions. The successful candidate must be able to teach to KS3 & KS4 level and should implement clear, balanced and relevant objectives for learning.
The school we are recruiting for are a small school of just over 500 pupils which is accessible by public transport. The school was recently rated 'Good' by Ofsted, they pride themselves on providing equal opportunities for all students whilst maintaining the highest standards of education to suit each individuals needs. They offer a broad curriculum whilst encouraging and supporting pupil's interest in learning. They are continually improving teaching methods and are looking for an enthusiastic English teacher to join their team.

As a full time English teacher the school will expect the following:
« Teach English to KS3 & KS4 level.
« Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum.
« Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team.
« Assess, mark and plan lessons.
« Assess achievements of pupils.
« Provide progress reports and attend parent's evenings & department meetings.
