Project Director - Solar EPC
We have a unique and exciting full time, permanent opportunity with a forward-thinking, fast-growing, green-energy focused, engineering business in the North of England. The Project Director will play a critical role Managing Multiple EPC Projects countrywide.
Package includes:
Competitive salary DOE, Car allowance and 22 days holiday + BH.
The successful candidate shall possess the following qualifications as a minimum:
SMSTS
IOSH or NEBOSH Strongly Preferred
HND/HNC in construction management or equivalent Electrical Discipline
5-10 Years experience within EPC Projects ranging from 2MW upwards.Main Duties of the Job Role will be as follows:
Managing Multiple EPC Projects countrywide, ensuring adherence of acceleration of programmes are met.
Progress Monitoring and reporting to key stakeholders of the GLE Organisation and Key stakeholders associated with each project
Conducting necessary H+S and Progress Audits on each scheme weekly
Managing all commercial aspects of the projects with assistance of the Commercial Director and allocated Quantity Surveyor to collate CVR Information
Ensuring compliance within delivery to necessary permit requirements, inductions, provision of qualified personnel to complete works
Liaison with site management teams to ensure site issues are resolved in a timely, compliant manner
Overall responsibility for execution of works on EPC Contracts.
Provide main interface between GLE Organisation and Clients to ensure a constant line of communication between stakeholdersExperience Required.
Knowledge of HV Systems - SAP Requirements and necessary permit to complete works.
Experience within Civils aspects of EPC Schemes.
Knowledge of mechanical installations, ventilation requirements and associated controls
Experience of SCADA Based Control Systems
Knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations INDJB
