We are seeking a motivated, practical, and adaptable Physics, Engineering or similar practical science background, to join our small team of 5.nYou will play a key role in our development, where you will be responsible for various tasks including; manufacture of master holograms using state-of-the-art lasers, operating production test machinery, helping develop production machinery, programming/using PLC's, quality control and evaluation of holograms. You will work with cutting-edge equipment and technologies, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and be involved in ongoing research and development. Training will be provided for all current machinery and processes.nTruLife has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Nitto Denko of Japan and part of the role will involve report writing and interfacing with our Japanese partners.nKey Responsibilities:nManufacturing master holograms with precision and attention to detailnOperating test production machinery for copying holograms.nConducting quality control and evaluation of holograms.nUsing converting machinery for roll-to-roll materials.nResearch and development activities for new production machinerynWriting reports and updates – presentation slides preparation

Additional Responsibilities:nUsing laser cutters and markers, 3D printers, motion control systems, Spectrometers, Vision Systems.nMaintaining cleanliness of equipment as we work in clean roomsnRequirementsnRequired:nDegree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or similar.nAdaptable and versatile, with a willingness to learn new skills.nGood manual dexterity and attention to detail.nAbility to prepare slides in PowerPoint, ability to take good lab notes and summarisenRight to work in the UK.nOwn transport for commuting to our Castleford location and occasional trips between company sites in Oldham and Leeds (from Castleford).

Desirable:nExperience in a laboratory or technological setting.nExperience with lasers and/or optical alignment.nExperience in measuring and using scientific devicesnUse of CAD software and interpreting technical drawingsnExperience of clean rooms and working in themnProgramming skills in Basic, C++, and Python.nFamiliarity with PLC controllers, especially Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi.nExperience with process automation (motion control, vision systems, etc)
