Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a change? Are you ready for the next challenge in your driving career? If so, we have a great opportunity for you Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 Driver to join our team in Mossend (ML1 4UY) . You will be working 48 hours per week, delivering goods to a number of customers on a flexible work pattern to support work/life balance. Operational and customer needs would dictate the need for flexibility with various shift patterns available. Pay, benefits and more: You will be paid an hourly rate of £15.00 per hour (plus additional 6th shift payment and overtime payments available when required) 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) A company sponsored pension scheme A 24/7 online GP service, life assurance and fully comprehensive employee assistance programme Access to our MyBenefits platform, offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more Admission to GXO University, our online learning platform enabling you to achieve your career aspirations What you’ll do on a typical day: Accurately and safely deliver goods to various retail customers 4 or 5 drops per day Operating company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations Adhere to all GXO Health and Safety policies What you need to succeed at GXO: A full UK driving licence with category C entitlement A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 current penalty points No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
