BASIC SALARY: Up to £45,000

So is this a technical sales / engineering sales job?
 
YES
 
We offer a premium service, so clients need to see you as credible. You need to close them for meetings and to consult on the best solution for them. They need to trust, believe and buy into you You need to be able to close the deal.
 
Then you have to deliver ... candidates have to be sold the role (good points and bad) - they have to trust, believe and like you. You need them to buy into the opportunities.
 
This is a consultative technical sales role from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS: Engineering Recruiter, Technical Recruitment Consultant, Technical Sales
 
So what do I need to succeed?
 
· Either via education or work experience, you will have some exposure to a technical environment. This could come from a variety of disciplines, such as Project Engineer, Service Engineer or technical support or an NVQ, HND or ONC in a technical or engineering based subject.
· They key is that you have the potential to be credible in front of engineering and technical customers and candidates.
· A track record of achieving targets within a sales environment.
· The skill to overcome objections and be tenacious, but not pushy - that's what everyone else does
· The ability to connect with people and build long standing, professional working relationships with key decision makers.
· A consultative approach to selling.
· A natural instinct to close
· The ability to negotiate favourable terms ensuring a 'win-win' (our MD's favourite phrase).
· Highly developed communication skills.
 
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services:  Technical Recruitment, Technical Sales, Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Consultative Engineering Sales, Recruitment, Sales, Account Management, Business Development Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Retained Recruitment
