Aquent is recruiting an experienced
Social Media Manager / Content Manager
to join a dynamic and pioneering start-up in the carbon solution space, where revolutionary ideas are shaping the future of sustainability. Be at the forefront of transforming ethical practices and play a key role in steering pioneering marketing and communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible to oversee the development and execution of our content strategy, managing social media platforms, assets, and communication materials directed towards investors. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the narrative and engaging our audience in support of our sustainable initiatives.
Our client specialises in environmental conservation initiatives. They are committed to environmental stewardship and sustainability across their operations. Leveraging advanced technology, they ensure fair compensation for stakeholders while emphasising the importance of preserving natural habitats and ecosystems.
Creating content including copy, LinkedIn/Instagram and making videos for a YouTube channel, Facebook and TikTokok would be great to setup. Collating footage - working on their own – but potential to expand the team into future. This position will be working alongside the CMO.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation and Management:nDevelop and curate engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.nCreate compelling narratives that highlight the company's achievements, projects, and initiatives in the realm of sustainability and environmental responsibility.nSocial Media Management:nManage and grow the company's presence on social media platforms, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media content with overall marketing and communication strategies.nAsset Management:nOversee the creation, organisation, and maintenance of visual and written assets, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages.nWork closely with design and creative teams to produce visually appealing and on-brand materials.nInvestor Communication:nDevelop and manage communication materials, including mailers and newsletters, targeted towards investors and stakeholders.nEnsure timely and relevant updates are communicated to investors, fostering transparency and trust.nPerformance Analytics:nMonitor and analyse the performance of content and social media initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.nUtilise analytics tools to track engagement, reach, and other relevant metrics.
Experience:
Proven experience in content management, with a focus on social media and investor communication.nStrong writing and editing skills, with an ability to craft compelling and persuasive content.nExperience in managing social media platforms and creating content that resonates with diverse audiences.nFamiliarity with asset management, ensuring consistency in brand representation across various materials.nKnowledge of sustainable practices and a passion for environmental responsibility.nEffective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
