We are currently working with one of the largest Renewable Energy companies in the UK that specialise within delivery scheme works. They have been operating since 2008 and have helped fund and install over £250million worth of energy efficiency measures to homes in the UK. They specialise within the installation of green energy systems on domestic & commercial properties such as Solar PV & Battery Storage, Air Source Heat Pumps, Insulation, EV Charge Points and other systems.
They are currently seeking an accredited Retrofit Assessor who can join the team in the local area carrying out assessments for properties which qualify for works under the GBIS (Great British Insulation Scheme). You will be working on a mobile radius in the local area, attending domestic properties to undertake on site energy assessment and retrofit assessment surveys. You will be surveying the property, producing energy performance reports and energy performance certificates and making recommendations based on assessment findings. You will document the survey including photo’s and assimilating your findings to provide to the Retrofit Coordinators.
The company currently use ECMK or Elmhurst Software for their surveys, however the company can pay to get you accredited if you are not currently under one of these bodies. You will have ongoing training and support to stay updated on industry advancements.
