Our client is a well recognised new build, refurbishment and fit out contractor with an extensive portfolio, an enviable work book and an established track record of delivering cut an calve, structural and new build office and retail refurbishment projects across the South. The group’s client base is a testament to their ability to deliver superior standards and service at all levels.
Due to continued work winning success, our client is currently looking to recruit an Trainee/ Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work within one of the businesses most successful teams, working with and being mentored by Senior Surveyors and the Commercial Team.
About the role of Trainee Quantity Surveyor
Your role as aTrainee will be to support the commercial team on a variety of projects ,initially managing smaller packages from procurement through to final accounting under supervision. You will be working with the team to ensure subcontractors are managed on site, measurements of packages are carried out and assisting with paperwork.
Requirements for Trainee Quantity Surveyor
The company are looking for a candidate who is early in there career, who is keen to join a business and learn with experienced staff and who is enthusiastic, willing and keen to learn and who ideally have the following:
* Maths and English GCSE
* A-Level/ HNC or similar qualifications in a construction related subject
* Drive and motivation
