Our client, a leading provider of supported living services, is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join their team in South Oxfordshire (Didcot/Abingdon).
About the Role:
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. You will be responsible for a designated group of supported living settings, ensuring the delivery of high-quality person-centered care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating a team of support workers
- Providing coaching, mentoring, and supervision
- Developing and implementing person-centered care plans
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation
- Managing rotas and budgets
- Building positive relationships with people we support, their families, and other stakeholders
You will be a great fit for this role if you have:
- A Level 4 Lead Practitioner Diploma in Adult Care (or a Level 3 diploma with a willingness to undertake a Level 4 qualification)
- Experience working in learning disabilities services
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality care
Role:
37.5 hours per week - Full Time 5 from 7 days including weekend working and evenings.
Also, on call duty manager roster requirement. This is a salaried role with no eligibility for overtime payments.
