Artworker

We are recruiting for an Artworker to work Monday to Friday for an award winning global document storage company in Coventry (CV7) free parking onsite and long term opportunities Own transport preferable due to the location.
 
Hours & Shifts:  Monday to Friday
AM: 7.45am-3.45pm (Apply online only))
 
Pay Rate: £14.55 per hour
 
In this role as Artworker, you will be supporting and working alongside the print department, working from customer’s briefs to produce high quality, print ready artwork for both large and small format printers. A high level of knowledge working with Adobe creative suite is essential as you will be creating and modifying artwork files, ensuring colour accuracy, resolution and file formats across large and small-scale outputs. You will have experience in taking a brief through to delivery, always ensuring the highest quality and standards. 
 
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
At least 2 years artworking experience is required
Be proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and InDesign
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft office applications
Knowledge of large format printing would be a distinct advantage
Excellent understanding of print production processes, colour management, typesetting and printing across different mediums, formats and finishes
Be methodical and meticulous with a keen eye for detail
Self-motivated, proactive and organised, willing to assist other departments if required to do so
Have excellent communication skills 
The  role requires candidates to undergo a basic DBS and Credit check and provide 5 years verifiable employment / education history as part of the process due to the nature of the client. This is free of charge as Meridian Business Support cover the cost.
