This leadership role will help lead the Northern team for a major UK professional Consulting firm to grow the Energy and Renewables sector.
Role
As Principal Surveyor you will be responsible for delivery of client portfolios across a diverse range of surveying tasks working closely with the Partner management team.
You will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of land services duties in order to meet the high demands of clients capital delivery programmes and estate objectives. Attendance at project reviews and close working with our clients is a necessity. Provide day to day performance management and technical direction for the team providing assurance aligned to the wider division growth strategy.
Skills and Responsibilities
* To take responsibility for day-to-day technical management across a number of client portfolios particularly relating to large Energy estates together with land acquisition for Renewable Projects across the UK.
* Services can range from identifying suitable renewable energy generating systems, feasibility audits, cost benefit analyses, advising on technology procurement, reviewing commercial proposals (developer or energy company), negotiating deal terms for Options to Lease, advising and supporting on green energy strategies, land strategies, disposals and acquisitions.
* Ensuring a continuous performance culture within the team.
* Management of client relationship and reporting across the portfolios under your control.
* Actively contribute towards the division business development targets.
* To mentor and coach staff members of the Surveying teams including support for APC candidates
* Be able to demonstrate experience of portfolio management across a wide range of surveying disciplines.
