Information Security Analyst

Locke & McCloud are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join a growing Information Security team at a legal services firm.
The successful individual will play an integral part in implementing the organisation's security roadmap. Building and maintaining relationships with the team and key stakeholders across the business is integral to this role.

Key Responsibilities:nConduct security risk assessments, provide recommendations, and implement controls.nPossess a thorough understanding of advanced threat detection, continuous vulnerability assessment, and strategies for response and mitigation in information/cyber security operations.nContribute to the implementation IT security roadmap, including the development of supporting policies and procedures.nOversee IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance.nCollaborate with the Technical Services Teams and other business units to define technology security requirements.nCommunicate with clients and third parties regarding information security matters.nAssist in the scope and execution of regular penetration testing at network perimeter, internal, and application levels.nMonitor the external threat landscape and recommend appropriate actions for emerging threats.nProvide guidance and support for cyber incident response during tests and actual breach/security incidents.nProvide expertise and leadership to the Firm in the understanding and execution of compliance in accordance with International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), specifically for ISO27001.
About you:n3 -5 years of experience in Information Security with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance.nExpertise conducting information security related audits such as ISO27001, NIST.nExperience in applying and implementing ISO related controls both technical and operational.nUnderstanding of general information security management principles and data protection.nExperience working within Information Security or IT Security, Data Protection.nSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to take responsibility.nStrong understanding of advanced threat detections, continuous vulnerability assessment, response and mitigation strategies used in Cyber Security operations.nAbility to define the technology security requirements in conjunction with technical teams.nInterfacing with clients, business partners and other third parties it relations to information security.nA keen and natural interest of IT security trends with an excellent all round knowledge of IT.nExperience of working within a matrix organisation, including reporting into a number of people including technical line managers and project managersnHave obtained (or will obtain) industry recognised certifications where applicable/relevant.
