To be considered for this role you’ll need at least 3-years’ experience within a similar role, specifically Employers and Public Liability Insurance claims (Personal Injury will be considered). Prior experience is essential as you’ll be managing your own designated case-load, ensuring claims are processed and settled within the company’s guideline.

Key Responsibilities of the

Claims Handler :nMaintaining accurate file by file & pay-peril reserves to meet the Company’s liabilities.nEnsuring all claims allocated are controlled within company philosophies/procedures and KPI’s to achieve investigation, negotiation and equitable settlement in accordance with levels of expertise/authority/responsibility of team staff.nProviding support to senior management with day-to-day staff development to aid and supplement efficient progress to resolution of claims.nEnsuring customers are treated fairly at all times.nAuthorising claims payments in accordance with departmental limit.nActing as liaison/referral contact for queries, providing claims support and expertise.nMonitoring and reporting on services/costs of external providers, so as to achieve best performance/value for the company.nAttending and/or chairing meetings at office locations and at broker or client premises.
