Workday Extend Solution Architect


Locations Considered: UK, Northern Ireland, Europe.


Join our client’s team as an experienced Workday Extend Solution Architect, where you’ll play a key role in shaping innovative product offerings on the Workday platform. You'll be part of a new Product team, focused on creating, developing, and scaling new products until they reach market maturity.


With recent changes to Workday, including the Marketplace, AI Gateway, AWS integration, and the Built on Workday program, our client’s team is positioned to lead in this evolving ecosystem.


You will lead technical design and solution architecture, using technologies like Workday Extend, AWS, and AI, to develop and refine customer-centric products.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product teams to create customer-focused roadmaps, gather user feedback, and develop proof-of-concepts.
  • Lead the product certification process for apps on the Built on Workday platform.
  • Drive technical solutions that address client challenges and add value to their Workday experience.


Essential Skills:

  • Expert proficiency in Workday Extend platform.
  • Strong customer focus, with the ability to build trusted relationships, assess needs, and manage expectations.
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing custom applications, preferably in Workday Extend.
  • Skilled in REST and SOAP web service technologies.
  • Proven experience leading teams in complex technical projects, with expertise in SaaS delivery and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent consulting skills to understand and translate client needs into technical requirements.


Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in AWS platform and AI technologies.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing, mentoring, and developing team members.
