Legal Assistant

Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our legal professionals in diverse practice areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with the drafting, reviewing, and editing of legal documents.
2. Managing client files, ensuring all relevant documents are stored and easily accessible.
3. Conducting legal research to support ongoing cases and projects.
4. Liaising with clients, court officials, and other legal professionals.
5. Maintaining calendars and tracking deadlines.
6. Assisting in the preparation of case materials for court appearances and meetings.
7. General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, answering phones, and data entry.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
1. LLB degree or relevant diploma would be beneficial, but not essential.
2. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
5. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
6. Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
7. A commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
