Job Responsibilities:
Participate in a crucial team responsible for the control and analysis of all products and related testing, ensuring safety and timeliness.
Understand and meet daily targets, promptly addressing any issues with the Senior Technician.
Conduct product sampling and testing according to procedures and British Standards BS EN (phone number removed).
Ensure tests are performed on time and according to the frequency reported in the Quality KPI's.
Perform equipment calibration in line with procedures and British Standards.
Assist with and perform concrete trial mixes and routine aggregate testing as per procedures and British standards.
Document, understand, and communicate testing procedures to relevant personnel, supporting remedial actions to maintain product quality.
Foster a culture of safety, demonstrating high safety standards and visibility to the Technical and Operational teams.
Manage daily workload effectively to meet departmental targets and requirements.
Provide guidance to Technical Supervisors, Managers, and Production colleagues on test results and their interpretation, including on-site attendance.
Prepare and present test reports to investigate customer complaints and queries.
Supply product test data to understand the use of statistical reports and control systems.
Build and maintain strong relationships, understanding others' needs and positively impacting them through the technical team.
Develop commercial awareness, recognizing the business value of a quick and accurate testing service.
Promote and adhere to company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a strong safety, health, and environment (SHE) culture.
Advocate for nationally agreed best practices, ensuring team compliance and contributing to continuous development and improvement.Job Details:

Ability to commute to Birmingham, West Midlands
Experience: Minimum 1 year in concrete testing
