Night Shift Maintenance Engineer - Hortonwood, Telford 
Reporting To: Head of Engineering
Salary: Competitive plus shift allowance
Working Hours: 18.00 to 06.00 Monday to Thursday/Friday (44 hours per week) Can be flexible, as long as covers majority of the shift.
Pension: Immediately
Holidays: 20 days, plus bank holidays
Based in Telford operating across four sites in Hortonwood, Evolution Foods, is one of the fastest growing Food Manufacturing businesses in the local area, employing over 300 employees.
This is a newly created role, where you will work in an Engineering role to support the Production function on the Twilight/Night shift. You will have a handover with the dayshift/twilight engineering team at the beginning of each shift.
The role will require you to be hands on electrical, maintenance and engineering tasks.
Duties Include: 
Ensuring industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably
An active position in generating ideas for improvement
Safe installation of machinery and control panels
Competent to oversee and resolve electrical fault finding
Continuous improvement of equipment Day-to-day attention to Electrical breakdowns and changeovers
BRC and Health and Safety paperwork to be completed daily
Supervise outside contractors and be confident in outlining BRC & Health and Safety processes are adhered to whilst on site
Keep up to date and log servicing records
Keep up to date, log and order spare parts and replacements with the Head of Engineering and the team when applicable
Helping with general site building maintenance
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM’s) on all machines
Skills/Qualifications 
Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or proven experience/ability in a similar role
Desirable to have previous knowledge of Food Production processes
Electrical Qualifications to NVQ, C&G or ONC Level 3
Good working knowledge of associated disciplines including Project Management, Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering and Food Safety
Person
Experience of balancing a fast-paced large workload
Excellent Communication Skills to deal with all different levels of stakeholders
Leadership ability
Robust & flexible approach
