Solicitor – Family Law (1 Year PQE) Location: Henley-on-Thames Position: Full-time Salary: from £45,000 per annum About Us We are a boutique family law firm based in Henley-on-Thames, Marlow & Beaconsfield, known for our client-focused approach and compassionate yet robust legal representation. Our small, dedicated team handles a wide range of family law matters, often with high levels of discretion and sensitivity. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) in family law to join our friendly and supportive practice. The Role You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision, working closely with senior solicitors and partners on more complex matters. This is a varied role offering hands-on experience across the full spectrum of private family law. Key Responsibilities Advising and representing clients in relation to: Divorce and separation Financial settlements and asset division Children matters (private law) Nuptial agreements Cohabitation disputes Attending client meetings, court hearings and conferences Drafting legal documents and correspondence Engaging in settlement negotiations and mediation where appropriate Building strong client relationships through clear, empathetic communication Assisting with business development and networking opportunities Requirements Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 1 year PQE in family law Sound knowledge of family law and practice Strong client care skills and a personable, professional manner Excellent written and verbal communication Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities Familiarity with case management systems is an advantage Why Join Us?
