The Opportunity:nWe are seeking a skilled and dynamic Research Manager to join our team. As a Research Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing podcast host with in-depth, industry-leading, innovative research briefings that enable the best possible podcast recording and conversation, no matter what the genre, topic or guest is for that episode
Key Responsibilities:nDefine research objectives and develop research plans and strategiesnOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of research projectsnEnsure that research projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with established protocolsnProduce evidence-based briefings using papers, reports and general knowledgenSupport research team with other tasks including podcast descriptions, name tests, guest pitches.nConduct literature reviews, gather data, and analyse research findingsnCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of research findingsnSupport research team with other tasks including podcast descriptions, name tests, guest pitches.nHave a strong awareness of AI and the ways in which it can elevate your professional performance
RequirementsnMust HavesnExtensive proven experience in a research based or investigative research style rolenStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large amounts of evidence and data and distil into key insights for that will engage the widest audience possible through the lens of the podcast hostnUnderstands how the right data at people's fingertips gives everyone a firm foundation for success in conveying a compelling story and creating an impactful conversationnExcellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and allocate resources effectively.nExceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and findings in a clear and concise manner to multiple teams including a high profile host of a podcastnDemonstrated leadership abilities, with experience mentoring and developing junior team membersnExceptional commitment to organisation and organisational tools and software to ensure working priorities are tightly managednAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslynStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, which can regularly require working outside of standard hours to hit deadlines and work sprints for international recording schedulesnExcellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts.nNice To HavesnA keen interest in AI & examples of how it has or will create optimal research outcomesnInternational experiencenLocationnLondon - Shoreditch ~ we are an in-person-first culture and believe in fostering a vibrant and work environment centred around connection and community.nSome roles will require global travel so flexibility in this aspect is important and your hiring manager will confirm this with you during the interview process
