Spraybooth Technology Limited are one of the UK’s leading innovators in spraybooth design and manufacture with a growing customer base, which includes vehicle manufacturers, independent and franchised bodyshop networks. STL has also become a leading supplier of bespoke spraybooths for commercial vehicle, rolling stock manufacturers and the aerospace industry, in both local and European markets.
We require a Project Manager who will oversee and manage contracts. It will be of benefit if you may have previous experience in spraybooths, spraying processes or similar industries such as HVAC. We would also consider experience in building design or installation, electrical control systems.
The Project Manager will work with the other members of the team on projects from initial enquiry, through concept design, manufacture, test, installation, commissioning and handover.
Primarily an office based role, but must be prepared to travel to customer sites as required, therefore a clean driving license is essential.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
The role requires an innovative, dynamic, organised, practical, and calm individual.
They will be confident and will have a clear decision-making ability
Able to deal with all aspects of time sensitive project requirements, in dynamically changing circumstances
Knowledge of safety management, CDM, RAMS and relevant legal regulations for site working would be a benefit.
Working with site-based customers and subcontractors which will include frequent site visits and occasional overnight stops away from home
The ability to understand customers processes and to communicate design ideas and plans clearly
The ability to work within budgets and to deadlines
Would typically be qualified to HNC/degree level in Engineering.
With experience in M&E, HVAC, manufacturing or construction, desirable. Though training will be given as required.
Ideally with experience of electrical control systems, associated safety compliance and their design
With good IT and communication skills, main system being Microsoft office
Knowledge of CAD -ideally 3D Autodesk would be of benefit
Knowledge of health and safety.
Other duties will include liaison with STL manufacturing facility and sub-contractors
