Are you a seasoned dairy professional with a passion for leading high-performing teams and driving technical excellence? We are seeking an experienced dairy professional to fill a new, pivotal role as Dairy Technical Manager, where your technical expertise aligns with your passion for leadership and team development. In this role, you will lead a small team of specialist consultants across UK and Ireland, overseeing project delivery and driving excellence in dairy farm advisory services. With your in-depth industry knowledge and natural leadership abilities, you will inspire and shape the team's growth while influencing the strategic direction of our client services. Working remotely, this role covers the UK and Ireland and requires close collaboration across the wider business, offering a genuine opportunity to drive innovation and excellence within an established international business. Providing solutions and advisory services to generate a more sustainable, profitable, and enjoyable future in the dairy industry. Role Responsibilities: To lead, coach and manage a small team, providing direction, support, and performance management to ensure a collaborative, high-performing growth culture. To develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance team skills, technical expertise, and adherence to company best practices. To serve as the primary liaison between the technical team, senior management, and internal departments to coordinate projects and optimise resource allocation. To work collaboratively across the business and contribute to the strategic development of technical services, driving operational excellence and service quality. Skills you will need: A degree in the dairy sector or a related field. An extensive dairy industry background with comprehensive technical knowledge. Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team effectively. An established network in the agricultural sector (preferably dairy). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organised with strong project coordination skills. The ability to deliver engaging training sessions to a variety of audiences. A team player able to work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve business goals. A commercial thinker with a strong customer-centric approach. Adaptable and self-motivated, able to respond quickly to business needs. Strong IT skills. UK driving licence and the willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland.
