Demand Planning Manager – Northern Europe

The role:

  • As a Demand Planning Manager – Northern Europe, you will plan SKU-level to support a 4-month rolling production and procurement plan and a 24-month rolling forecast for crop-related SKUs, in line with service agreements and robust financial planning. You will also manage low phase-out costs for non-performing SKUs through rationalization.
  • Collaborate with key distributors across Northern Europe (DACH, Benelux, Nordics) to improve processes, ensure availability, and minimize lost sales, while working with customers to enhance supply chain performance and drive corrective actions.
  • As a Demand Planning Manager -Northern Europe, you will work closely with Supply Planning to evaluate constraints and provide contingency plans, lead Demand Reviews, challenge sales forecasts, communicate supply issues, track performance, and share insights with the Head of Supply Chain.
  • You will be responsible for measuring and improving KPIs such as forecast accuracy and sales plan performance as a Demand Planning Manager – Northern Europe.


Ideal candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Demand Planning Manager within the food industry or an FMCG multinational company, with a solid understanding of retail or distributor challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with advanced planning and replenishment systems such as JDA, o9, OMP, or Kinaxis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of engaging at all organizational levels and delivering results with speed and agility.
  • Strong team player with a commitment to continuous improvement, and desirable knowledge of ERP planning (SAP APO) and some level of German language experience.
