Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of technical strategies, policies, and procedures to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, quality assurance, and research and development to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage all aspects of product development, from concept to commercialization, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, processes, and equipment to enhance efficiency, quality, and competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on technical initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve complex issues and challenges as they arise.


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Food Science Degree (or equivalent qualification)
  • Food Safety and Food Hygiene Qualifications
  • Lead Auditor
  • HACCP certificate
  • Previous experience within a customer facing role/managing a team
  • Analytical and self motivated individual with good planning skills.
