Client Details
An exciting opportunity has opened up at a prestigious manufacturing company. We are looking for an ambitious and career-driven individual to join our Estimating team as a Production Planner / Estimator. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Production Planning, Sourcing, or Estimating. This role demands confidence in supplier negotiations, buying, and sourcing products, along with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn. The company operates out of brand-new, state-of-the-art open-plan offices, featuring on-site ping pong and pool tables, free parking, and a health shield cash plan.
Description
Align product costing and pricing with customer requirements
Possess a comprehensive understanding of operational processes and their impact on manufacturing costs
Reduce response time to customer inquiries and prioritise key customers as necessary
Maintain open communication with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, and Production teams
Maximise profit margins on all quotations
Analyse sell-through and trends for our entire product range
Achieve conversion targets as set by the Estimating manager
Monitor product quality and evaluate supplier performance against agreed standards, providing timely feedback
Accurately maintain all data, documentation, and information within agreed timelines and systems Profile
Exceptional numerical skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
Ability to work well within a team and independently.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
