This role is open to both contract and ftc.
On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for a Construction Planner to assist in overseeing the logistics, budgets, and scheduling of a large-scale construction project.
As a Construction Planner you will be expected to ensure the successful and smooth operation of a live project which has a minimum of 12 months of build time to completion.
You will work alongside relevant Project Managers to prepare work programs per their guidelines and monitor the progress of projects to ensure completion within the specified budgets and schedules.
Construction Planner responsibilities will include:
* Responsible for all scheduling and planning activities as per tender and contract requirements
* Create, maintain and review construction programmes and schedules
* Fully understand project programmes and schedules and communicate to the wider team
* Establish working relationships with the internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the project
* Monitor live projects through regular site inspections and provide progress reports to present to the project team, senior management and client as required
* Undertake; detailed analysis of delays in contract plans and report accordingly to line manager; a programme of projects revisions as and when required
* Carry out contract administration duties including issuing payment certificates.
Construction Planner requirements:
* Must have 3+ years of Construction Planning experience
* Commercial projects, preferably sports and leisure
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* Excellent Communication, Organisational, and leadership skills
* Excellent attention to detail.
Construction Planner will be employed on a 12 month contract basis
