We seek excellence at every step, from conception to delivery and beyond.About The RoleYou will be responsible for transforming Engineering design data into a production/manufacturing BOM and will work cross functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Programmes, Supply Chain and Planning. You will be involved in creating operation routing step requirements based on its manufacture/assembly and how that communicates in the ERP system.Various Iterations on BOMs will be required to be created in a timely manner to achieve customer deadlines. You will have an understanding of the engineering involved that creates the designs and how product data will flow though the business ensuring operation routings, sub assembly levelling and stock withdrawal is optimised.In your role as our BOM configurator specialist, you will:Take Design Engineering BOM and Routing Data and translate the data In order to be structured for the companies ERP system.Develop production operational routing steps that are structured for the ERP system and are designed for optimal production and material logistics as well as withdrawal.Maintain BOM/Production Configuration files that keep a log of how the transformation was created from source data to final data.Time management to ensure BOMs and Item Data are available for customer demand.Regular involvement in Planning and SIOP activities to understand the evolvement of items that may prompt an update to data and information.Assisting the Material Review Board on information they require.Take part in Value Stream Mapping and Lean Process Improvement exercises to understand product requirements.Any other task as deemed necessary/appropriate by management in order to meet company objectives.About YouTo help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring your expertise within a BOM Configurator specialism along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:Two A Levels or equivalent.3 years experience of a similar role in a high pressure manufacturing environmentA strong understanding of the manufacturing process to ensure optimised production is executed effectively and efficiently.Ability to logically resolve problems.Experience with SolidWorks / PDMStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office Word/Excel.Excellent communication skills.Comfortable and experienced in working to tight deadlines, in a fast paced environment.Able to learn and have the ability to analyse existing, design and shape new systems/processes.Desirable:Experience and knowledge of document requirements and quality accreditation within the aerospace industryDetailed experience of production operation processsExperience with Microsoft Business CentralPersonal skills / attributes:Self-driven and able to multi-task when required.Detail orientated and highly organised.Seeks continual improvement.To ApplyIf you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for Mirus Aircraft, please proceed through the following link to be redirected to their website to complete your application.
