Job Description:
We are looking to recruit 2 Nursery SEN Assistants to support our partnered nursery for their September rush. You must be compassionate, enthusiastic and experienced while having the goal of supporting young children with various different additional needs.
You will likely have a designated child but you may also be required to support with the rest of thc children as part of your daily role. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to individual students, assist with their learning and development, and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with SEN, assisting them with their learning and personal development.
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies tailored to each student's needs.
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create and deliver appropriate learning activities and interventions.
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their independence and self-esteem.
* Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies and support students' emotional well-being.
Requirements:
Experience working with students with SEN, either in a school setting or a similar environment.
Knowledge of SEN support strategies and a commitment to promoting inclusive education.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in students' lives.
