Full Stack Software Engineer (12 Month Fixed Term) £90,000, London


An experienced Full Stack Software Engineer is needed to join an innovative engineering team in London, where you will work on a range of B2C applications (building new features with JavaScript, Tailwind, React, NextJS), integrate a legacy booking API, and use Contentful with GraphQL in a role full of variety – this is a 12 month fixed term (salary) role where you will have a real impact from day one.


Your Role: the ideal Full Stack Software Engineer, will have experience of working with e-Commerce platforms, managing multiple stakeholders, making architectural decisions, and leading features from conception to implementation.


The Tech Stack includes:

  • Tailwind, Next.js, React
  • Cypress, Vitest
  • Node, GraphQL
  • Optimizely, Git workflows
  • Azure, Cloudflare, Docker


Requirements:

  • 5+ years in modern frontend development (JavaScript/Typescript)
  • 3+ years with React and Next.js
  • Backend experience (GraphQL middleware, Redis cache)
  • Experience of Kubernetes & Docker would be advantageous
  • Quick to learn and integrate new technologies


Responsibilities:

  • 70% Frontend - Work with cross-functional teams to create features, use Optimizely for A/B testing, develop with React and Tailwind CSS, write tests with Cypress and Vitest, and design robust content abstractions.
  • 30% Backend/DevOps - Manage GitHub workflows, set up Azure monitoring, debug backend issues, and use Docker for deployments.
