Major Recruitment are currently looking for a Full Time Accounts Assistant at our well respected client based just outside of Taverham, Norwich.
As an Accounts Assistant you will assist the finance department and you will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Director and undertaking various financial and office based tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Dealing with customers on the phone and face to face
Purchase invoice processing, reconciling and preparing payments
Account and Finance reconciliations
Credit Control - Including setting up customer accounts, monitoring credit limits and ensuring invoices are paid in line with credit terms
Working with the Finance director in ensuring full compliance of the ISO14001 standard.
Qualifications/Experience Preferred Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of Xero accounting package would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and well organised
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
