M&E Project Manager

We are looking for an M&E Project Manager to start immediately for a Commercial Contractor in Guildford, Surrey.
The Day Rate for this project will be £350 per day (CIS/Ltd)
The working hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm. These times may have to be adjusted to meet the demands of the project.
Project Duration: circa. 6 months (possibility to move onto another project within the business after)
Project overview: MEP Installation. 9 story car park adjacent to Guildford Station. The end client is Network Rail as the project is on Network Rail Land. Project therefore must abide by Network Rail Standards & Processes. However, as it is not 'on or near' the track PTS is not required.
SMSTS and either ECS Gold/Black Card is a minimum requirement for this role. In addition to this, you will need to have a good level of experience in a previous role.
Project Scope:
* Electrical Install (CMS, Lighting, Small Power, LV Panel install including large submains cable pulls)
* Mechanical Install (Above Ground Drainage, Domestic Water Services, Background Space Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation) (This will be carried out by a subcontractor who will have their own supervision/management but the construction manager will need to manage the subcontractor)
* Fire Alarm Installation
* Lightening Protection (This will be carried out by a subcontractor who will have their own supervision/management but the construction manager will need to manage the subcontractor)
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Ensure successful Contract Delivery on site
* Produce & Update Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets & Inspection Test Plans
* Carry out Risk assessments and ensure all staff are property briefed along with supervisors.
* Plan works, resources, plant & materials in line with the programme, design, standards & specifications. Coordinate with the project manager in good time to request required materials and arrange delivery of materials. Majority of procurement will be carried out by the project manager.
* Ensure all company and client H&S and Management policies are carried out and adhered to.
* Monitor site activities by regular inspection to ensure highest standards of installation and safety are maintained.
* Close liaison with the clients representatives relevant to site requirements.
* Assist the Rail H&S Consultant in investigations into accidents and incidents.
* Ensure all personnel are competent, medically fit (as far as reasonably practicable) and
* have correct certification.
* Ensure accurate and comprehensive site records are maintained in line with Company
standards
* Monitor contractual and assurance performance.
* Ensure site reports are accurately and comprehensively completed
* Develop a good working relationship with stakeholders
* Monitor Hours of Work compliance on site
* Monitor Drugs and Alcohol Compliance on site
* Monitor Staff Competency on site
* Carry out Management Safety Tours
* Ensure Site HSEQ Inspections are carried out
