Bonhill Partners are partnering with a scaling multi-strategy, proprietary trading firm based in London. The team is expanding quickly and are looking for a hands-on Head of Technology to join and support their expansion and provide technical guidance and direction.


Salary: ~£200k + discretionary bonus

Location: Mayfair, London - 5 days in office.


Requirements/responsibilities:

• 10 years experience in technology roles within the financial services sector, with a strong preference for prior experience in a financial institute or trading environment.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, and ideally R.

• Ability to design, implement, and refine complex trading algorithms that can process large volumes of data in real-time to make predictive trading decisions based on multiple variables.

• Expertise in managing and manipulating large datasets, using SQL databases and potentially NoSQL databases. Knowledge of data warehousing, data mining, and data integration techniques to ensure that data is accessible and reliable.

• Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence including ML and AI techniques to develop predictive models and enhance algorithmic strategies. Familiarity with libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn can be particularly useful.
