An exciting opportunity for an experienced Packaging Technologist to join this well-established European Food Business supplying bakery products to a range of major supermarkets.Opportunity HighlightsHybrid WorkingBonus25 Days HolidayTHE PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIST Lead technical input on packaging development projects from concept and brief to commercialisationProvide technical packaging expertise to support the factories and key supply chain objectivesProject manage the packaging work stream for specific packaging development and cost saving projects that involve multi-disciplinary project teamsKey aspects of the role will include: Ensure that packaging products meet set requirements and specificationsProduce samples to try out different materials and designsCreate effective partnerships with Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Production and Suppliers to enable flawless project delivery of key business objectivesIdentify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining qualityRun packaging trials to check packaging for suitability and testing for performance under various conditionsManage artwork development across the business (PL & branded) by liaising with graphic designers to ensure correct development of artworkIdentify and choose products and packaging solutions from suppliersTHE IDEAL CANDIDATETechnical packaging development and project leadership experience with a track record of delivering resultsWell-developed interpersonal skills, specifically relationship building, facilitation, written / verbal communication.Creative approach to problem-solvingGood attention to detailGood team-working abilitiesGood IT skillsKey aspects of the role will include: To If this job is of interest and you would like to investigate further, apply TODAY"Kandhu Recruitment will consider all applications based on each candidate's suitability to the role or similar roles within the Food Sector and if we feel you are a relevant candidate we will process your application by adding you to our secure recruitment database and then contacting you to progress job opportunities further.
