Connex Education is working with a Secondary School in Stockton-on-Tees who are recruiting for a English Teacher to work full- time during term time.
About the school
The school is very popular within the Stockton area and is part of a multi academy trust. With a supportive SLT who are currently looking for someone who shares their passion for education to carry out English lessons for key stages 3 and 4.
The school offers a friendly atmosphere with a motivated team of teachers focused on student progress. They are looking for an English Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils education. The right candidate will be able to confidently step into the department and continue teaching the existing schemes of work.
Assignment Details

must be 21 and over
Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
PGCE in English or related subject from a recognized provider
You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one
Have experience teaching English in a UK secondary school setting.
Be able to plan and deliver engaging KS3 and KS4 English lessons across ability ranges.
Be passionate about instilling a love of English language and literature.
Have excellent behaviour management and classroom control skills.
