Our client is a leading specialist construction company with a 50-year history
They are looking to recruit a Bid Writer to join their construction division
Business is booming, and the company as a whole have quadrupled in turnover in the last 4 years - the construction arm of the business is growing even faster, meaning there is lots of opportunities for an ambitious Bid Writer

The role - Bid Writer
Headed up by a personable / supportive Construction Manager, you will be joining a dedicated team
As a Bid Writer you will be working on new build and refurbishment education schemes from £2-12m.
* Working with the team to complete the technical envelope for all tender returns
Updating the Bid Library
* Managing the tender programme – essentially a list of projects and submission dates.
* Compiling Case Studies
* References – an increasing number of tenders require references from clients, many where clients need to complete the reference and mail back directly, this always needs managing and chasing as deadline approaches.
* liaise with the estimator / surveyor as soon as they read the tender / visit the site to get any info from them to incorporate into the technical envelope prior to pricing
The construction division is a self sufficient department, where you will enjoy concentrating on the important parts of your role, rather than being bound by processes
The right person - Bid Writer
You will be currently working in a similar role and will be looking to progress within a construction company.
