This exciting opportunity will offer the successful candidate the chance to work with a varied portfolio of clients within a dynamic and supportive team environment.


About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Bookkeeper / Management Accountant to ist in managing the bookkeeping requirements for a broad range of clients. This role is based in the office and will involve the following key responsibilities:


  • Performing complex bookkeeping tasks for a range of clients across various industries
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Demonstrating strong knowledge of working with limited companies
  • Managing daytoday client relationships handling adhoc queries and providing excellent customer service

Requirements

What We Are Looking For: To succeed in this role you will need to meet the following requirements:


  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an accountancy practice or accounts department within a UKbased organisation
  • Extensive knowledge of Xero is essential; additional experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication ss both written and verbal with the ability to liaise confidently with clients
  • Strong initiative along with the ability to delegate tasks and support the development of junior staff members
  • Impeccable attention to detail and effective time management ss

Benefits

Salary dependent on experience (likely) plus benefits package. This is likely to be an office based opportunity but home working may be agreeable for the right candidate after ping probation.
