The Company:
Established 1976, The Martin Group of Companies, provide a trained and certificated workforce of over 1,300 delivering works and support services from design, through to build and onward maintenance for the transport and waste recycling infrastructure for the UK.
The Opportunity
Working closely with the Project and Operations Managers to ensure the delivery of several large-scale vegetation management and fencing contracts. Ensuring that adequate track access is secured to deliver works within possessions. The role will involve inputting sites into PPS and managing the T-Minus process via meeting attendances and utilisation of the planning portal. The candidate will be the main point of contact for attending the possession planning meetings for the company.
Required Experience
Essential
* Previous experience in possession planning on Network Rail Infrastructure
* Experience working on Possession Planning System (PPS)
* Experience of attending and communicating at T-Minus meetings
Desirable
* Hold a safe system of work planner competence.
* Experience working on Ontrac and Railhub systems.
* Produce Safe System of Work Packs (SWP’s)
* Plan safe systems of work for nominated projects with appropriate safety and performance measures applied, within required timescales.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of SSOW plans.
* Ensure appropriate risk assessment are carried out prior to issue of SSOW plans.
* Produce WPP and TBS documentation
