A great opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Body Builder to work for one of the UK's top automotive businesses. In return, you will be paid a great hourly rate and many working hours are up for grabs.
Responsibilities as the Welder / Fabricator:
* Install parts on commercial vehicles such as freezer bodies.
* Adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes and always demonstrate high attention to detail.
* You will be required to complete all compliance paperwork accurately and work to the company's standards.
* Work on your initiative reading drawings and work to set timelines.
* Previous experience in fabricating, vehicle assembling and welding would be ideal.
To be successful
* You will have previous experience working as a Semi-skilled Fitter, Fabricator, Welder, Bodyshop MET Technician, Mechanic Strip Fitter, Mechanic or Bodyshop Technician.
* You may hold a City and Guilds or NVQ in heavy vehicle mechanics, automotive mechanics/engineering or mechanical engineering.
* You may have experience in carrying out MOT's to VOSA standards.
