Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage shift operations, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Liaise with other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues promptly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven track record at understanding and managing warehouse & picking/loading performance to KPIs
Experience of involvement in disciplinary, grievance, appraisal and performance management situations
Experience of having managed a sizeable operation at a Middle or Senior Management level.
Fully conversant with warehouse processes: Goods In, Goods out, Picking and Packing.
Sound knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
Commercial awareness.
Clear understanding of systems to ensure food safety and environmental compliance
PC Literate: An ability to use MS packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
