Are you ready to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer following a successful career in the financial services, Blockchain, or Crypto industry, and are you looking for a new opportunity in London or Zurich? Brookwood Recruitment has partnered with a leading regulated Digital Asset Custodian to appoint a European CEO to play an instrumental role in their European expansion, operations & strategy.

The CEO with work with the Board to ensure the accomplishment of the firm's mission, vision and global objectives. The Board has delegated the responsibility of managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations to the CEO, who has the authority to carry out these responsibilities in accordance with the Board's direction and policies.

As Chief Executive, you can expect to:

  • Provide direction and facilitate the Board in carrying out its governance functions
  • Analyse market trends, anticipate industry changes, and adapt the company's strategy accordingly
  • Encourage and motivate employees, make tough decisions, and communicate a clear vision for the company’s future.
  • Prepare for and navigate the regulatory landscape, including the anticipated Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation

To apply for this CEO role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Exposure to working with EU regulators (for example: MiCA, FCA, etc.) and should have an advanced degree such as MBA (Master of Business Administration) or other postgraduate qualifications
  • Successful background in Sales and Business Development and experience of building and managing teams
  • The ability to inspire and motivate employees, make tough decisions, and communicate a clear vision for the company.
