Payroll Officer

Duties:
- Process weekly payroll using Sage for employees accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage Holiday requests and calculate Holiday Pay.
- Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Issue contracts to new members of staff
- Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
- Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed
- Collaborate with External HR Advisors
-Enter Labour costs onto internal Job Costing Program
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with payroll software such as SAGE
- Strong analytical skills to analyse data and resolve discrepancies
- Experience in accounts payable or human resources is advantageous
- Proficient in data entry with high accuracy levels
Hours:
08.30am to 17.00pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday each week - (some flexibility may be considered)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.42 per hour
Expected hours: 25.5 per week
