Prospero Teaching is working with a Primary mainstream school based in Blackburn.
Our client has instructed us to recruit 3 Teaching Assistants on temporary to permanent basis (temp - perm).
The school caters for EYFS & Primary aged children, many of whom have EHCPs - Education, Health and Care Plans.
Some students have a diagnosis of Autism (ASC) with associated communication and social, emotional, mental health needs (SEMH).
The school is looking to appoint 3 Teaching Assistants to support students in their academic learning and personal and social development.
You must have previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant, however experience of working with children and young people with autism will be beneficial. If you are a creative or sporty person or someone with experience of supporting people with mental health issues, your application will be considered.
The school offers a very supportive, team ethos, where colleagues support and encourage each other.
The school offers a progressive career path with free CPD and the opportunity to qualify as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
